The Rivette QUESTars Adventure Race Series

Chilterns, Herts.

The third event in the 2010 one day Questars series makes a welcome foray to the Home Counties for the first time in many years. The close accessibility to London combined with some surprisingly fine adventure racing terrain is bound to make this a popular event.

Based from Tring the course will take in varied parts of the great Chilterns Hills with lovely open beech woodlands, some steep slopes and great views.

Kayaking will be on a section of the Grand Union canal.

Facilities available :

Car parking, covered area for briefings and prize giving, refreshments, changing rooms and showers.

Provisional event timings :

Masters : Collect team packs at 0830, Event Briefing 0900-0920, Starts from 0940

Novices : Collect team packs at 0930, Event Briefing 1000-1020, Starts from 1045

Finishing times between 1540 and 1625

Results and Prize Giving : 1645

Extra Maps

Each team pack contains a course map printed on A3 waterproof paper pre marked with all the available checkpoints. If a team would like an additional map then these need to be pre-purchased from the Questars online entry system at least one week before the event.
