Directions & Car Parking

The Questars event base is at Tring Rugby Union Football Club, Cow Lane, Tring, Hertfordshire HP23 5NS

View map showing event base location here

Download aerial photo of the event base here

Its suggested that you download and print off the aerial photo of the event base so that you know where everything is located.

Arriving by vehicle: There will be Quest signage and Quest marshals to point you towards the entrance for vehicles and to show you where to park, so do look out for and follow the Quest signs as you make your way along Cow Lane. All parking is on grass next to the rugby pitches (see aerial photo). Please help us to make this event run smoothly and safely by following these instructions and adhering to the important points below:

  • The rugby pitches are currently under repair so please keep off these at all times. Absolutely no driving on the pitches under any circumstances. When making your way from the car park to the clubhouse please make sure you go around the rugby pitches and do not cut accross them.
  • There is no parking or vehicles allowed near the bike depot (these spaces are being used by the Squash Club) and there is no parking allowed on the gravel just inside the entrance to the field i.e. on the north side of the bowling green (this area is the car park for those playing bowls). Both areas are likely to be empty when you arrive but please still don't park in these places as they will be needed by members of the respective clubs later in the day. This is espcially important if you arrive late and their are no Quest marshals to show you where to park.

Please do share transport if possible. If each team comes in one vehicle it’ll be much kinder to the environment and you’ll also be able to talk team tactics on the way!

Transition Points

Upon arrival take your bike to the bike transition point which is located around the other side of the clubhouse. Remember, the rugby pitches are currently under repair so please go around these and do not cut accross them. After setting up your bike in the bike depot make your way to the clubhouse to collect your team pack and attend the Race Briefing.

IMPORTANT: We recommend you bring a bike lock so you can lock your team's bikes together while they are left in the transition area. A member of Quest staff will man the bike transition up until the prize giving at 1645, so please make sure you collect your bike before this.

Facilities

Facilities at Questars event base include:
